My good old Honda Civic 2001 is doing the green mile. Yet again, it's that confusing time to shop for a car in the used car market.
I came to know that the used car dealers had to move out of the city as per municipality's new orders. The new venue is the Abu Dhabi Motor World which is located a bit outside the bounds of Abu Dhabi city.
It was a 15-20 minutes drive from my home in Musaffah. Travelling abudhabi-outbound on Airport Road, you will see a "Y" road which leads to either Abu Dhabi Airport or Dubai. Take the Dubai road and keep driving straight. Follow "Sweihan" from there onwards.
There are around 5-6 lanes in the ADMW, each lane has show rooms on both sides.

More than 50% of the show rooms are still unpopulated. I will not say that choice is limited, but it will become better with time.
I went in on a saturday around 5pm. Some show rooms were still closed. In such cases you have to call the number placed on the car's dashboard.
As I learned from the show room agents, you have to take the car to either Baniyas or the main abu dhabi downtown for testing. There was no testing facility available. Also there wasnt any Masjid or grocery/super market so if you are planning to visit, BYOF :)
