m-Mawaqif Error-1021 You have reached max time limit for this tariff.

I am generally pretty satisfied with the way the Mawaqif system is set up, and how it has helped clean the parking lots. However, while using the m-Mawaqif service today morning, I encountered the following error message: Error-1021 You have reached max time limit for this tariff. You are not allowed to purchase another ticket. While generally I get a confirmation back, this is what I got today. Given that the Mawaqif timings are enforced from 8:00 AM onwards, if you purchase a standard full-day ticket (8 hours) for standard parking (black/turquoise) before 8:00 AM, the ticket expires the next day at 7:59:59 AM. However yesterday I had renewed the ticket at 8:02 AM, which means that my ticket was valid till today morning 8:01:59 AM. I didn't realized that and tried to purchase a ticket via m-Mawaqif before the last ticket expired, and that's when I got this error message. Road Trip from Abu Dhabi, UAE to Salalah, Oman

We always wanted to take a road trip to Oman and finally got the chance to get this done. Having done all that, I felt I need to write this down for the benefit of others as I had lots of ambiguity and questions while planning this trip. Vehicle Registration Renewal & Kiosk Error Message

I recently had to renew my car's registration. Usually this is a straight forward case where you are required to do the following: Renew Insurance (Online/Phone/Visit) Get your car tested (if applicable) Visit any Abu Dhabi Police Traffic & Licensing Department center to use the Kiosk. The kiosk is able to print your registration card (aka Malkiya in Arabic). With the new Smart Govt. initiatives by the UAE Govt, everything is real simple and there are various channels for availing these services. In this case, I was able to view this service on the MOI UAE mobile app, Abu Dhabi Police mobile app and of course the physical kiosk. However the information displayed was not the same.
